Happy Birthday, J. S. Bach (Yes, it's in fact today!) There is some confusion about the actual birth date of J. S. Bach. It WAS March 21, 1685 in the old, Julian calendar. However, it's March 31, 1685 in the new, Gregorian Calendar. As far as I'm concerned, every day could be his birthday, so long as you listen and celebrate! Below is one of his most beautiful keyboard pieces (in my humble opinion) from the Partita No. 6 in E minor, specifically the first movement, the Toccata, as played by non other than the genius, Glenn Gould.
